Adrien Brody Weeps as 215 Minute Long Film Earns Huge Praise in Venice

The new film by one of Hollywood’s most underrated performers, Adrien Brody, received a notable 12-minute standing ovation at the Venice International Film Festival. The Brutalist, a historical drama directed by actor-turned-director Brady Corbet, is already generating Oscar buzz, and it’s Brody’s comeback opportunity after he stepped down from the Hollywood spotlight and dedicated himself to making lesser-known films. Needless to say, a 12-minute ovation is a great sign.
