You’ll have to lock up James Cameron in an iron lung before he’ll give up the director’s chair for Avatar 4 and Avatar 5. That’s according to the Oscar-winning filmmaker himself, who used the analogy to demonstrate his commitment to directing the upcoming installments of his landmark sci-fi adventure. In a far-reaching interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Cameron discussed a number of projects, but confirmed he isn’t planning on letting anyone else direct upcoming installments of his Pandora saga.
