Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet has long been an advocate for positive, realistic portrayals of women in Hollywood, but she was recently reminded there is still a long way to go. In an interview with Harpers Bazaar UK, Winslet revealed that a crew member attempted to offer some “helpful advice” about covering up what they perceived as her physical flaws. The Titanic star said on the set of her new film Lee, she was advised to try to hide her “belly rolls” when she wore a bikini.
