The upcoming sequel Mortal Kombat 2 will include one of the most crucial parts of the video game on which its based – a part that was noticeably and oddly missing from the first movie – the Mortal Kombat tournament. While you would think that it would be difficult to make a Mortal Kombat movie without the actual titular tournament, this was achieved in 2021, but returning star Lewis Tan has now confirmed the follow-up will have a tournament as well as being 100 times better in the second movie based on what we learned from the first.
