The long-awaited Spawn reboot from Todd McFarlane and Blumhouse seems to at least be on the right track now that it has an official title in King Spawn. However, it’s now unclear if Jamie Foxx is still attached to star in the project. First published by Image Comics in 1992, Spawn was the brainchild of McFarlane and went on to become such a cultural hit that it, well, spawned a plethora of merchandise such as toys and t-shirts, a feature film in 1997, and an animated series that ran on HBO for three seasons.
